What is an ideal average order value for a Shopify store?

I recently opened my own Shopify store that sells digital gift cards. I am trying to improve on my marketing strategy and to find ways to expand my store's consumer base. What is a good average order value for a Shopify store?

The current average order value (AOV) for a Shopify store is $87. If your store's average order value is more than US$ 195, it would be performing well, and if it is less than US $50, your store would be underperforming. The average order value ranges between US$51 and US $195, and your store's average order value is far below the range if it is less than US$ 40, placing it amongst the worst performing Shopify stores.
