What factors can reduce the AOV of my Shopify store?
Asked 3 years ago
I have seen a decrease in my Shopify store's AOV over the past couple of months, causing me much distress because I'm making less money from each sale. Consequently, my business has become less profitable. How do I pinpoint the cause of my AOV decreasing?

AOV of any store depends on the value it supplies to its customers. Adding extra befitting opportunities for your clientele impacts your AOV directly. Same as that, devaluing the strategic store approach lowers it. Some prime factors that reduce the AOV are as follows:
- No discount deals in the store.
- The overall weight of the purchaser's basket.
- Minimum use of upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- No social proof henceforth lowers customer trust.
