How do you measure Banner Effectiveness with Google Analytics?

Is it possible to track banner clicks using Google Analytics?

You cannot track it natively in GA, but it is possible to report it. You must add a unique identifier to the URL of each banner. Create an event like this: pageTracker._trackEvent("Banner", "<Banner name or ID>", "click") - it will allow you to see the total no. of impressions and clicks on the banner.
